[Somebody is out taking a jog well before the sun comes up, and Haruka might see the big mass of muscle doing laps around the island perimeter before he ever heads to the morning buffet.
At the very least, the redhead has adequately taken a quick shower before heading to breakfast, quickly grabbing multiple plates and starting to pile them methodically with food, grabbing several pieces of pastry and stuffing them directly into his mouth as he works.
Halfway through an apple danish, he spots Haruka and gives a wave, gesturing at him to come over.]
[It’s hard to miss him, with how tall and broad he is, not to mention the cartoonish amount of food he’s carrying in the buffet. Haruka stares at his plates, his own breakfast of chazuke seeming very… modest.
But he’s not too rude to just ignore being waved over, so he trots over obediently.]
[Beel storms off, and Haruka is quite frankly too nervous to follow after him. He does need to stop by his cabana to pick something up, but... He's a little concerned. Just a little, though! It's nothing major! That trial was just a nightmare, and...
He still feels bad for calling Beel an idiot, even if that's not the most pressing thing on his mind. After the detour to his cabana and an awkward conversation (keeping track of PC timelines will be the death of me, lav), he seeks out Beel in the buffet. He's... he's assuming he's there, but if he isn't there's still other places to check, and he has his u-pinion...
But first, time to see if he can hunt him down the normal way. Where you at, demon boy?]
[Whenever Haruka peaced out to go back to Kingfisher, Beelzebub had still been very much asleep and still all horns and wings.
But once he slips back in, someone is upright in bed, crosslegged, surrounded on all sides by snack bags and fruit and cookies and gum wrappers, a banana halfway in his mouth as he scrolls through his U-PINION. His eyes flick up slightly when he sees someone entering the room, but it lights up when it isn't one of his normal roommates.]
[It's not a cozy spot, tucked in the sea caves on Seagem. The rocks are cold, and the rock cage a little colder, fused with the back of the cave wall.
There is a kittybot nearby, just out of reach to actually be touched but routinely depositing snacks. Beelzebub, behind the stone bars, is pacing back and forth, occasionally reaching through the bards to grab whatever is handed to him and shove it into his mouth in the midst of his pacing.
[Haruka isn't sure he wants to go to see Beelzebub, after he's stormed away from the beach and has taken time to breathe. There's no point in hounding the man over what he's done, regardless of how much he does or doesn't remember, and it's not like it's Haruka's place to forgive or condemn him.
Still, it...
Beel is his friend. Was his friend? He's not sure what to make of where they stand right now, but unlike Sonya and Kanon, Haruka cares for Beel. Deeply.
So he makes his way to the caves, and he hands one of the catbots a strawberries and cream sandwich from the buffet to pass to Beel. He's quiet for a long, uncomfortable moment, not sure what to say, before he sighs.]

…Good morning.

Morning. You look a little calmer.
[He pauses, fishing over one of his plates before pulling out another pastry and holding it out to Haruka.]
You want a croissant? They're not filled with Black Tar Jelly or anything here, but they're still pretty okay.
no subject
Black Tar Jelly? That sounds gross.
[…]
But, thanks…
[He takes the croissant anyways, but he stares at it for a moment instead of taking a bite.]
Are you really a demon?
no subject
[He gets back to adding more to his already overflowing plate, pausing only slightly at the question.]
Yeah.
You were pretty freaked out the other night. I thought it would be a bad idea to tell you then.

[Banana mouth.]

He closes the door behind himself, looking at Beel nervously.]
How are you feeling?
[He’s eating, so that’s a good sign.]

no subject
H-hey!
[please be careful with his poor human bones]
no subject
no but Beelzebub is squeezing him pretty tightly, an exhale of relief.]

WEEK 5 - POST TRIAL
There is a kittybot nearby, just out of reach to actually be touched but routinely depositing snacks. Beelzebub, behind the stone bars, is pacing back and forth, occasionally reaching through the bards to grab whatever is handed to him and shove it into his mouth in the midst of his pacing.
He doesn't notice his company.]

...Beel.

The demon carefully turns his head, expression tired.]
...Haruka.
[He looks down at the sandwich.]
...This is what we-- [Weeks ago, sharing food, sharing stories. And now...] --Did you bring this?
no subject
...Yeah.
[That conversation feels like it happened years ago, not just weeks.]
I didn't know if you'd have any snacks here, or if they'd be any good, and I remember you kind of liked this...
no subject
[The next bite is eaten almost carefully, as though wanting the flavors to last for once.]
...Thank you. You didn't have to do that.
